    FREE BIRD is a painting that started in a dream. I saw a strange prophetic understanding that the eight moons that actually exist and are seen in our night sky, show themselves only during the shadowest of moments: right before the dawn comes. Then, I could not resist painting a beautiful phoenix underneath the moons, rising from a deep deep sea. The grandest of moons became his cheek.
