This painting can be currently seen at Rae Kunsti Plats, Rae kultuurikeskus, Harjumaa at my personal exhibition "Japanese Garden And Other Ways Of Melting Together" throughout February 2023.
FISHEYES ON BACK hasn't always shown fisheyes on back. It used to be A TOUCH OF IMPOSSIBILITIES, and it was exhibited like that, until it changed its way into things possible. Et Voilà
It has many imaginary bubbles. The hues of light blue and pink give me resemblance of a baby room, but the real meaning and what can be seen on the painting tell a different tale. There is a human sitting on a chair. With an owl at a size of his upper body. It has a huge wing with a face of fish. Especially the eyes.
If the fish would be a lady, those eyes could only belong to Bette Davis.
This painting has been exhibited at its previous state in 2014 at Tartu Art House (Estonia) for it's end of year exhibition. Then, it was exhibited at Swedbank's private banking area at the 11th floor on 8 Liivalaia Street in Tallinn, Estonia and at Mahedik café in Pärnu, Estonia. It was last seen at St Jacob's Church in Viimsi in summer 2020.
