This painting has also had several lives. It has been "ready" at least twice, already had an owner (that's why it has a nice decorative black metal frame!). Once it was changed, because the owner wanted another painting and a change in surroundings, I received it back and ...changed it. Life changes, and so does my art sometimes, because as a perfectionist, it is so easy to see that something needs to be added!
So I added some things, and the cut linen with a painted figure that is meditating with a back towards the viewer, is sewing the broken world together with golden wires! You are the creator of your own world and even in a world that is broken, we must do our best to do the sewing.
